Finally, Med-linket’s Temperature Probe Won Canadian CMDCAS Certification

May 25, 2017, the medical consumable temperature probe independently researched & developed by Shenzhen Med-linket Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. won Canadian CMDCAS certification

It is reported that Canadian medical device certification differs from US (FDA) certification that totally handled by government in product registration plus government's on-site review (GMP review), it also differs from European (CE certification) that completely certified by the third party, CMDCAS implements a quality system certified by government registration plus a third party review. The third party must also be accredited by Canadian Medical Device.‍

All medical devices sold in the Canadian market need to get permission from Canadian Medical Equipment Ministry - Canada Ministry of Health, whether it is locally produced or imported.

In audit process of Canadian CMDCAS , the evidence must meet requirements of standard quality management system ISO 13485/8:199 or ISO 13485:2003 and must meet the degree required by Canadian Medical Device Regulations.‍
